Mello Consulting Group Pty Ltd (ABN 57 678 387 221) provides AML/CTF Tranche 2 training and HR systems advisory to Australian businesses. This policy sets out what personal information we collect, why, and what we do with it.
We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles — the standard we'd expect of any firm working in compliance.
What we collect
Very little, and only when you choose to give it to us.
- When you book a call: your name, email, phone number, and anything you add in the booking notes. Bookings run through Calendly, our scheduling provider.
- When you email us: your email address and whatever you put in your message.
We don't ask for more than we need to have a conversation with you.
What we don't track
Our website sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising pixels, and no third-party tracking of any kind. Browse the site without contacting us and we collect nothing that identifies you — no profile, no audience list, nothing sold to anyone.
How we use your information
To answer your enquiry, schedule and run discovery calls, and follow up about our services. Nothing else. You won't get marketing you didn't ask for.
Who we share it with
We don't sell or trade your personal information. A few service providers help us run the business, and each one only handles what it needs to:
- Calendly — scheduling and bookings (United States)
- Cloudflare — website hosting and security
- Our email provider — to receive and reply to your messages
Beyond these, we disclose personal information only where the law requires it.
Information held overseas
Calendly is based in the United States, so the details you enter when booking a call are stored there. Booking through Calendly means consenting to that. Our email and hosting providers may also store data outside Australia, including in the United States. Prefer not to use Calendly? Email us at [email protected] and we'll set up a call directly.
How we store and protect it
We keep your information only as long as we need it, then dispose of it. We rely on Calendly and Cloudflare, each with their own security controls, and we limit what we collect in the first place. No system is ever completely secure — but we hold no sensitive information, and very little of anything else.
Accessing and correcting your information
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, request a copy, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Email [email protected] and we'll respond within a reasonable time, free of charge.
Complaints
If you think we've mishandled your personal information, email [email protected] first and we'll work to put it right. Not satisfied? You can take it to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or 1300 363 992.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information — say we add analytics down the track — we'll update this page and the date at the top. If we ever introduce tracking cookies, we'll add a cookie notice before they go live.
